My best friend Hilary was taken from this earth at the age of 33, by a drunk driver.
She will never get to have the children she hoped for. I miss her infectious giggle. The way she would talk me into doing things outside of my comfort zone. The fact that she liked to play tricks and jokes on all of her friends. We lived together for a year and she would wait 45 minutes in the hall closet for me to get home from work just to jump out and scare me when I came home.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. It has been 7 years now and it seems like yesterday. My life was irrevocably changed the day she left this earth, it will never be the same. I know one day that I will see her again. Although life goes on it goes on differently than before.
