I thought about it for a bit and saw the stack of emails I received from my friends when I informed them that my mother was diagnosed. The emails that I received were filled with so much love, it gave me the strength to be there for both of my parents and family. I am honored to share these with you.

Typically you wouldn't send an email to your friend when you here the news of someone's illness or passing, but its OK since I initiated the first email informing them of my mom's illness. Mostly everyone responded.
Just remember my new friends, sending your thoughts and prayers through an email does not take the place of sending a sympathy card.
