Memorial Reading

Welcome to my memorial reading page. Whether you are looking for a memorial reading or a funeral reading, you will find it here. These are my favorites.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time for war, and a time for peace.

Prayer of Faith;
We trust that beyond absence there is a presence.
That beyond the pain there can be healing.
That beyond the brokenness there can be wholeness.
That beyond the anger there may be peace.
That beyond the hurting there may be forgiveness.
That beyond the silence there may be the word.
That beyond the word there may be understanding.
That through understanding there is love.

Do not stand on my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond's glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

 Grieve not for me

Grieve not for nor mourn the while, for happier would I be to see you smile.
Let no tears fall since I have passed away but miss me and remember me each day.
Live your lives as I would want you to, and treat your fellow man as I would do.
And when the time has come, your lives be through, I shall be waiting here for each of you.

To those I love and Those who love me

When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears. Be Thankful for our many beautiful years.
I gave you my love. You can only guess how much. You gave me happiness.I thank you for your love you each have shown. But now it's time for to travel on alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a time that we must part. So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you cannot see or touch me, I'll be near and if you listen with your heart you'll hear all my love around you, soft and dear.
And then when you must come this way alone.I’ll greet you with a smile and say“Welcome Home”.
