My dog recently was run over when chasing a car. I feel so at blame cause I did not keep him safe.

Mikey was my cuddly dog...slept beside me for 8 years, chased and retrieved all the balls I threw..there are still some out there in the pasture that he didn't find.

He rode behind me on my ATV and beside me whenever we went out in the car. My heart feels broken. He was such a special dog and I feel so lonely without him. It may seem so ridiculous to cry about a dog..and to a big part of the world, that is probably true.

To anyone who has loved and lost a soul mate...if that can be said about animals..then Mikey was mine.
